The Natural Resources Body for Wales (Establishment) Order 2012

 

In view of the response from the Environment and Sustainability Committee it was decided that there was no need to request any additional time to scrutinise this draft Order.

 

Committee Inquiries: Inquiry into the establishment of a separate Welsh jurisdiction

 

The Committee took oral evidence from David Hughes, Barrister, 30 Park Place Chambers, Cardiff.

 

Food Hygiene Rating (Wales) Bill

 

The Committee took oral evidence from the Minister for Health and Social Services, Lesley Griffiths AM, in respect of the Food Hygiene Rating (Wales) Bill. The Minister was accompanied by Christopher Humphreys, Legal Adviser, Welsh Government and Christopher Brereton, Head of Environmental Public Health Legislation, Welsh Government. The Minister agreed to provide a note of any reserve powers to require the Food Standards Agency to maintain a website.

 

Resolution to Meet in Private

 

In accordance with Standing Order 17.42(vi) the Committee resolved to exclude the public from the remainder of the meeting to discuss the evidence submitted thus far on the Inquiry into the establishment of a separate Welsh jurisdiction and the evidence on the Food Hygiene Rating(Wales) Bill.
